Calendar gifts

Last year I made calendars for all of my brothers and sisters as Christmas gifts so am making a refill for the case/stands each year now. i bought them from Touche' Rubber Stamps and really like them. Good quality cardstock and re-use the cases each year so economical also. This year I used all Close To My Heart stamps to make them. I don't do "cute" much but these turned out really, well, cute!

Mini album- Babycakes

i made a mini album for my middle daughter for Christmas for her to add Reese's pictures to. He is my newest grandchild and was born in July. In the previous post, you can see all six of my grandkids together in front of the tree. What a crew! I also made one just like it for a good friend of Savanna's who had a baby boy in September and then made another one to show at my gatherings. Everything in them was useing CTMH products and the Artbooking cartridge. LOVE that thing! All the blank areas are to add photos or journalling. I decorated the front cover and spline as well and added their boys' names down the spline. Don't remember if I took the pics of Reese's book or Arlo's. LOL Thet turned out so adorable. I will be making more of these!

Christmas time

here are just a few shots from our family Christmas here this year. Didn't get many taken at my Mom's with the whole bunch as most had gone home before we got the idea to take any. too hectic with such a big family!

November CTMH gathering

Debbie was our hostess this time and we focused on all Christmas cards. Used the gorgeous red shimmer tape on some. Love that stuff and sooooo happy we are adding new colors! Had a lot of fun creating these cards and all were very easy. We did the side-step card as our make and take so they would see how easy it is to make a knockout card that really "wows" the recipient! They loved it and so did I. Used lots of things from the seasonal mini catalog on these. Love how they turned out! Afterwards, I decided to really give it some pizazz and added sparkly glitter to the snowflakes ahead of time so it was dry and ready to assemle for them. I had all the stamping and cutting done ahead of time. Most was done on the Cricut using my CTMH cartridges. My very faorite cartridges ever!!!

Long overdue posts!!!!

I can't believe that I haven't posted since October! Need to get working on that. i am going to aadd here the cards that we did for our October Close To My Heart gathering of our monthly club. Hilarie was our hostess and we made some pretty fall cards and one for Christmas to get us in the mood and mind-set to start our holiday cards. Hope you enjoy them!
The one on the glossy paper was our make and take and we heat embossed the image and then sponged the colors on. it was really lovely. I used the burlap ribbon in a couple different ways. I created a simple flower with this strips of it and added a button for a really cute look.
